Focus and Scope
The scope of the Journal of Environmental Solutions comprises original research on all aspects of solutions related to environmental problems.
The journal covers the development of new methods or improvement of existing ones useful for the control and investigation of problems in all environmental compartments.
Case studies are also considered, particularly for areas where information is scarce or lacking, providing that reported data is significant and representative, either spatially or temporally, and quality assured. Owing to the interdisciplinary nature of this journal, it will also include certain topics in the fields of medical science, toxicology, oceanography, food sciences, biological sciences and other fields that in one way or another contribute to solve environmental problems.
Areas of interest include, but are not necessarily restricted to:
- Climate change and environmental quality
- Green chemistry
- Ecotoxicology and risk assessment
- Pollution monitoring, prevention and remediation
- Soil, water and air pollution
- Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Life Cycle Cost (LCC)
- Fertilizers and crop protection (exposure, fate and application technologies)
- Renewable energies
- Industrial waste management
- Water resources management (waste water treatment, drinking water treatment, desalination)
